During the process of digestion, our body produces some acids and enzymes, necessary for the breakdown of food, so that these nutrients are absorbed and used by the body. For each type of food, there are the corresponding enzymes that break it down. Occasionally, however, the body’s production of enzymes decreases, resulting in incomplete digestion with unpleasant symptoms (indigestion, bloating, bloating, heartburn, etc.).
The proteolytic enzymes to which Proteases belong are responsible for the breakdown of proteins, the Amylase for carbohydrates and the Lipases for lipids.
