Apivita Thyme Organic, Essential, 5ml
Aromatherapy has been practiced since ancient times as a holistic approach to nurturing the mind, body, and spirit by harnessing the remarkable therapeutic properties of essential oils to evoke a sense of tranquility, pleasure, and well-being. APIVITA’s essential oils are certified organic, 100% natural, pure, and unaltered, allowing you to reconnect with your senses in the most natural manner.
In Greek, the word “thymos” translates to “to cense.” Hippocrates, the renowned physician, spoke of thyme’s therapeutic qualities with great reverence. Ancient Greeks used to burn thyme as an offering to the gods, and according to mythology, thyme was believed to have sprung from the tears of Helen of Troy.
APIVITA’s Thyme Essential Oil is a 100% pure and undiluted essential oil, possessing a spicy and invigorating fragrance that is well-known for its ability to combat nervousness, emotional fatigue, and the stress of daily life.
You can experience the unique invigorating properties of Thyme essential oil in various ways as part of your daily routine, including:
- Massage
- Bath
- Steam inhalation
- Using it in a diffuser
How to use:
Essential oils are volatile liquids known for their ability to evaporate and stimulate the olfactory senses when inhaled, thereby influencing one’s mood. They can either promote relaxation and stress relief or invigorate and re-energize. There are various ways to incorporate APIVITA’s Essential Oils into your daily activities to enhance your well-being.
DIFFUSER
How to use: Essential oils, with their beneficial properties, can help you unwind after a busy day, enhance focus and concentration, or create a sense of rejuvenation. They can also be used to freshen the air and eliminate unpleasant odors in your surroundings.
To use, light a candle and place it underneath APIVITA’s Ceramic Essential Oil Burner. As the water in the burner warms up, you’ll enjoy the pleasant aroma diffusing into the room.
Amount to use: Add 1-8 drops of essential oil to a small amount of water in your diffuser. Ensure there is always some water in the diffuser.
MASSAGE
How to use: Massage is one of the oldest and simplest forms of therapeutic treatment and is widely recognized in aromatherapy. Incorporating essential oils into massage is an excellent way to alleviate muscle tension and stress in a soothing manner. These oils are absorbed into the skin, promoting feelings of relaxation and rejuvenation. Simply add the essential oil or a blend of oils to a carrier oil like APIVITA Natural Oil Almond or Massage Blend, and mix thoroughly. Apply the oil to the body using gentle circular motions.
Amount to use: Mix 30-35 drops of essential oil in 100 ml of carrier oil.
BATH
How to use: One of the most delightful ways to experience aromatherapy is in the bath. Fill your tub with warm water; the temperature can be adjusted to create a soothing or invigorating effect. Add a few drops of your chosen essential oil or blend into the bathwater and stir thoroughly to disperse the oil. For individuals with sensitive skin, it’s advisable to dilute essential oils in a base oil, such as sweet almond or jojoba. Soak in the bath for at least ten minutes, allowing yourself to relax and breathe deeply.
Amount to use: Add 3-8 drops of essential oil to your bathwater.
STEAM INHALATION
How to use: Inhalations are particularly beneficial for respiratory relief, especially during the colder months. They can also be used for facial steaming to cleanse and decongest the skin. Fill a bowl with hot water and add the desired drops of essential oil. Close your eyes, lean over the bowl, and carefully cover your head and the bowl with a towel. Inhale the steam for a total of ten minutes.
Amount to use: Use 2-3 drops of essential oil per bowl of hot water.
WARNINGS:
